SUGGESTIONS
FOR A SAFE SUMMER with HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES |
|
We can’t always avoid accidents and injuries but we can treat them with homeopathy. Here are some suggestions for my patients. These are good remedies to keep in your cabinet and are especially suitable for children. Dosage: 30c is the common strength available at most natural food stores. One pellet in water is generally enough for a new injury. Stronger doses are available through special order or from me or most homeopaths. The most effective way to take a homeopathic remedy for a sudden and new injury is to crush it and dissolve it in a glass of water (4 oz) and have the child or adult take sips of it 10 to 15 minutes apart until the injury feels better. You may be surprised at the speed of the action. If the individual begins to feel much better, stop the remedy because it isn’t needed anymore. If you do not get immediate results (within the hour), call your favorite homeopath for direction. Jolinda Rockett Black eye, bruising, pain from contusion, goose egg on the head, sore muscles from strain: Arnica Swollen knee: Apis Cuts, wounds that bleed: Phosphorus Blisters, wounds or scraps: Calendula Flea bites: Ledum Bees or wasps: Carbolic acid or Apis if swollen Mosquitoes: Ledum Prevent mosquitoes: Staphysagria (useful for children who have strong reactions to a mosquito bite). Cat or dog bite: Calendula, Hypericum, Ledum (may use all three in rotation) Poison ivy: Anacardium. When there is clear or honey colored fluid use Graphites.
